The Woodward series of easYgen devices are a range of products that are designed to control several types of engines, turbines, and compressor units.This model is the easYgen-3400-1 Marine; an exceptionally versatile genset control and protection device with all the flexibility and features needed to fit into a wide range of power generation applications. It allows the user to be centralized on a single, affordable control for many uses—from stand-alone emergency generators to the isochronous parallel operation of up to 32 gensets. The easYgen-3400-1 Marine can be configured for different application levels and responsibilities.

The easYgen-3400-1 Marine module is designed for multiple different configurations for a wide variety of applications. This unit is able to operate as a Load Share module, or as a Load Share module with synchronizer capabilities engaged.  There is also a Load Share module, with an engaged synchronizer, with up to 16 external LS-5 breaker controls activated. The final available operational mode is with a Genset Control, with an additional, fully independent Start and Stop functions for auxiliary generators.

The easYgen-3400-1 Marine unit is built to provide full connectivity to Woodward`s LS-5 breaker protection and control devices to enable complex power control applications with several feeder and bus breakers. 16 LS-5 units can be used in total in combination with up to 32 easYgen modules in one application. If any transformers are used in the application, configurable voltages and vector group adjustment is available for the synchronization process.
